I can't tell if it is IWB or OWB.

on single stack gun I usually carry two spares on my left side, with the XDs sometimes a stick one in my left
pocket too, mine is .45 ACP 1 round less, BTW the 1911 magazine pouches work on the XDs.

 

I carry it in my pocket. Not the quickest but I feel it's good enough. Also on some jeans a mag fits perfectly in that little pocket above the right hand pocket.

 

I have a great appendix carry may pouch made by jm custom kydex for my xds. I'll put some pics up later of it. My guns sits at 1-2 and the at pouch is at 11. It fits nicely in the gap left by my gun without causing additional bulge. The extended mag prints a little at times but the regular mags doesn't.

 

I had the amish make me a pouch the spare slides into. This rides in my front left pocket and stays clear of lint.

 

I am interested in one like you describe. Where did you get this?

 

Another vote for the SHTF GEAR pouch.


I like the fact that my SHTF GEAR mag pouch fits the 7 -round .45 mag just as fine,
or maybe even better than a CZ RAMI mag. The XD-S Mag being thinner.



I'd eventually like to get a double mag pouch for 2 of the 7-round or even 6-round mags,
but for now the SHTF pouch will work for going lighter carry than my RAMI and 2 of the 16-round
CZ75 magazines in a Galco pouch.

 

Of course, we're all looking for an answer to this. I've seen a back pocket leather mag carrier for the Sig p238. Has anyone seen something like this for the XDs?

I like that JM mag carrier. Looks like it does the job very well.

 

For an iwb it works great. I'm not sure what makes it an appendix carry one, but it's marketed as one. I think that a horizontal one works better, but I want my edc to be the same as my future idpa setup

 

What kydex double mag pouches are you guys using for your XD-S pistols in .45?
