Hmmm, I wonder why the 4.5 and 5.25" XDM 10mms have been discontinued? They seem to be very popular to me, so much so that the 3.8" OSP has gotten alot of attention as of late.

When I bought my 5.25 I thought of also getting the 4.5” too. There were plenty around but I just didn’t get around to it with all the crap going on. I was hoping they would bring back the 3.8 in 45 and they did so we can only hope. At least they don’t do like Ruger used to and hype up a new model, then take a year or longer to get them to dealers.

When I bought my 5.25" 10mm for woods carry I was, am not, willing to give up ~80 fps by sacrificing 1.45" of barrel length.
5.25"
-3.8"
1.45"
If the Elite is the way foreword I hope they at least offer a 5" version.
Gaston Glock has to be laughing all the way to the bank.

I just bought the XdM 10 in 4.5" OSP. I'm sure I paid too much for it, but I had never seen one in the wild and I had to have it. Sold my Block 29 to get it. Far superior handgun compared to the 29 imho. The 29 felt too short, too wide and, well.... Blocky haha.
The XdM 10 felt like an old friend. I cut my teeth on an XdM .45 5.25" so the 10 is like it's it stronger faster little brother. If SA comes out with the 5.25" Elite 10mm I'm in for sure.
