Reason I want .45 is because there is a 10 round limit in my state (Kalifornia), so I figured that it would be better to have 10 .45 then 10 9mm.

I have several 9mm and 45ACP handguns and have carried them all off and on over the past 20yrs. I always find my self confused on how everyone can fight and argue about what caliber is better. 9 vs 45?
Yes the .45 is a bigger round then the 9, yet most people seem to for get that the 45ACP and the 9mm both came out around the sametime in the late 1800's early 1900's. With the .45 going back even further due to ball n cap pistols of the Civil War.
Now if the 9mm was such an ineffective round why has it been carried by some of the major world powers in more wars and conflicts then people remember? Both the .45 AND 9mm servered in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc. in US Servicemen hands.
Comparing a 45/9 is like trying to compare chevy/ford trucks. to each his own.
