...got the little frame inserts from M&P so I could remove the annoying safety (to me at least). Much better IMO, how I like my guns. Here it is alone and next to my Gen 4 G34, both FDE. The FDE on the G34 was applied by a local shop as it is a Blue Label, comes in black only if purchased BL. Anyway, I really love my Glocks but the new 2.0's are right up there IMO.

Next to my Gen 4 G34...

My LGS got in a great Gen 1 Sheriff Department M&P 45. Absolutely not wear on the barrel, slide, internals. I don't think it was ever fired. It has Apex trigger internals as well. I may pick it up.

All you have to do is buy a non safety version
Always wonder why someone purchases a safety equipped weapon then removes it. When a nom safe version is available.
Buy the gun without if thats what ya want.

Because genius, the 2.0 5" FDE model only comes with a safety. As a matter of fact, I think the 2.0 5" model only comes in FDE as well. I always wonder why someone comments when they don't know the facts.

Yeah, you made a call without knowing the facts. Came across as condescnding, but now you know why a few of us purchased this particular 2.0 with a safety and swapped it out.

The reason that the 5 inch FDE model is only offered in that configuration, at present, is because that is what Smith submitted for consideration for the military contract.

I totally love mine out of the box, wont be messing with it. The $160 apex trigger that just came out does not offer enough of a difference for me. I think its a great trigger out of the box, one of the best on the market.

I am leaving the stock triggers alone on my 2.0’s...I like them as well.
