My experience with lasers has been that you get what you pay for. I have had several less expensive brands, I no longer will buy any thing but CT.

 

So you've tried the truglo laser?
There's a lot to be said about brands.
I don't see truglo as being cheap. I see a lot of people buying their sights and not complain.

 

Yes, it works like a charm. I've been to the range twice with it, no issues at all, highly recommend one.

 

I recently purchased an XD-9 Mod 2 Subcompact as well. I have read several places that Crimson Trace LG-448 will fit this gun. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes the laser is adjustable not so much on the XD

 

CT Railmaster pro is awesome. Had it for a little over a month. Really like it so far. Green laser is a crisp dot. And the flashlight is plenty bright. Only downside, they are pretty expensive.

What holster are you using for that Mod 2 with the Railmaster? and what magazine extension are you using also?

I put a LG-448 on my Mod. 2 subcompact .45. It works great
