I have. Some comps won't let the gun run reliably unless you are using hotter ammo because of how the comp affects the function. It's kind of a balance.
With my G19, the LWD Alpha Wolf was the best I tested in terms of felt recoil reduction and muzzle flip, but it had the most function trouble with standard pressure ammo. I started reducing recoil springs, but 11 lbs started having returning to battery issues. 13 lbs still had short stroking issues every 30-50 rounds but no failure to return to battery. Not bad for range, but frustrating because I was hoping to carry it. No issues with +P and +P+ with the factory recoil spring, but short stroking malfunctions every couple of rounds with range 115gr.
Texas Black Rifle Compay Inc. or TBRCinc comp was the compromise I have stuck with. Range ammo runs fine with it and it is short, but it is probably about half way between the effects I was seeing with the LWD alpha wolf comp and no comp at all.
The new Agency 417. I don't have one but I did try someone else's. Right around the same feel as the TBRCinc and functioned fine with all ammo. You can also get it in titanium nitride finish. So there's that.
As much as my description of the LWD Alpha Wolf sounds like it is a basket case, I have one on a G27 (.40 S&W) and it is amazing. I have recorded myself shooting hot defensive ammo through it and my G35 and it is amazing how much flatter the little gun tracks than my G35. 9mm was finicky, but if you are running .40, do it.
