For those who are interested, or for those who haven't yet seen what it looks like on the XDSC. As of now, SA has not given a date on when the sleeves alone will be available. Currently, you can get the Sleeve with a Hi-Cap Mag or you get the setup with the current SA Promo buy for the XDSC.

Old School

PS: I borrowed this picture from GunBroker. The XD is not mine, but one that is currently for sale on GunBroker.com.

Looks practical. Let me know when you get them in stock and I'll buy a couple.
Is this the one that's gonna hold 15 rounds for the sub?

Yes sirrrr!
Yes. The sleeve is an adapter that allows an XDSC owner to use full size mags. It is the same thing that Glock uses for the G26 (as an example) if you want to use G19/G17/G34 mags. Bigger mags with a bigger grip.

The sleeve is part of the mag, not the gun. You will need one sleeve per magazine, to be clear.
Looks dam good. Then I wondered how Oldschool got his name on them. Then I remembered they ripped off your company name.

There is a family by the name of Miller. They had the www.miller.com address for years. Then Miller brewing company came along and ripped them off so they could have it. Why pay the Miller family $50.00 bucks for the dot com address they rightfully owned when they could pay their lawyers a few hundred thousand to steal it from them. Miller brewing company does not to my knowledge even dare to use this address. Lotta pissed off people out there. I refuse to drink Miller beer anymore.

Let us know when ya get um im in for a few mags and sleeves
It is all starting to 'come together' why SA made their decision to pursure the 'XD-GEAR.COM' situation...

This is the way of business. I assume they had it in process for quite sometime, perhaps before we opened. What bugs me is the lack of press or notation about XDGear on the SA website. If they cared about the product line and its success, they would market it a bit more.

Like everything else, I assume the Shot Show will be the first of this effort. We will see.
The only thing I wonder about going with the grip sleeve is that you are starting to loose the benefit of going with the subcompact. Once you put it on the only benefit you have over a service model is about 3/4 of an inch in overall length. It seems to be defeating the purpose.

When I had a G26 and used the same type of extension, I kicked myself for not getting the G19. I think some will feel the same way with the XDSC and these sleeves.

For those who want to use Hi-Caps in the XDSC, this seems to be the only option for you, currently.
i always thought that using hicaps in your CCW was for reloading after your CC mag dan dry. hmm. interesting.

does anyone have a picture of JUST the magazine with the sleeve? i'm curious if there needs to be a different mag holder for it.

thanks.
The only thing I would change on the new magazine is the logo. It looks kinda strange with the logo on both the grip and the extended magazine.
 The new case has a clear cover and nice foam insert holds pistol in the holster. The mags and extension look good. .
It seems to be deafeating the purpose
It sucks to reload mag's at the range
Personally, I intend to use mine simply as a range tool. I have no intention of carrying a hicap mag w/ sleeve with me everywhere I go. But when I'm at the range and I'm just shooting, sure. Why not? Less reloading.
 I seen that at mc sports on 28th street in Grandrapids and for some reason they bumped the price 50 bucks to.I asked the guy at the counter about it being free promo holster and mags.He didn't have an answer.

If they have the regular version I would buy that and send off for the promo from SA.... I would also mention what they are doing with SA....That's just not right....taking free stuff and charging the customer $50.
