Crossbreed Supertuck.
I can conceal a full size XD easily with a t-shirt and jeans using this holster. They are alittle pricier but you will never need to buy another CCW holster again.

I ordered mine through midwayusa.com and they had them instock so I had it in hand within 2 weeks.
here is the forum within xdtalk that specifically pertains to crossbreed.
CrossBreed Holsters - XDTalk Forums - Your XD/XD(m) Information Source!
The owner of crossbreed seems to respond fairly quickly to anything that is posted on there. There are also a few threads posted about current lead times.
such as here, 3 weeks, arrived saturday.

I use a crossbreed snapslide. I'm more of an owb person. But anything that crossbreed has is good. Just about all of us here will swear by them. Theyre warranty is also probably one of the best you will find. I got mine in just under three weeks. Good luck and stay safe.

Unless he has a different gun he will.

That's one reason I went with Comp Tac MTAC. You ever want to switch ccw's you just have to buy a new kydex shell for less then half the cost of a new holster.

I don't throw away money, and your point of versatility is well taken. That said, for something I rely on for lifesaving - I personally choose to spend the money for something tailored to each individual firearm.

Not having experience ordering replacement Kydex for Comptacs, they may be the best thing in the world once you purchase the "shell" appropriate to your firearm.

However, adding in the personal relationship that Marc from CrossBreed has with this community, I go ahead and support him by purchasing one of his holsters for each piece I intend to carry.

And I have loved every one I purchased - regardless of why I bought it.

Many good choices you can make. I am supporting the little guy personally.

I started out carrying my Glock in a Kholster and, except for the steel clips on it that I didn't like, the holster did just fine. (was about 1/2 the price of the Supertuck).

Picked up a Crossbreed Supertuck for my Kahr and like it a lot better. Very nice holster and worth any extra charge.

Well that's the pont I'm making. It is tailored to each individual firearm. The kydex that is. The Crossbread is a piece of leather with a tailored kydex shell RIVOTED to the leather. The MTAC is a piece of leather with a tailored piece of kydex SCREWED into the leather.

Either way, these 2 brands seem to be the most popular on this site at least.

I have to add Brigade Gun Leather, Troy hand makes all his holsters. You pick the color of the hoslter and stitching. If you are really lookin' for something different he offers exotic skins as well.

I have the Galco King Tuk and it's pretty good. The deal with me is, I like the ease of being able to take an IWB holster off quickly if need be and those bigger holsters like the King Tuk and CBST can be a pain in the butt to work with.

Right now, for my 40sc, I use a Tagua IWB holster or my Fobus paddle holster, depending on what I'm wearing. There are times when I have to enter Federal Buildings for my job, so I have to be able to quickly remove my gun from my person and lock it away. I like for the holster to go with it, that way it's one less metal thing to set off the detectors in those buildings.
