Hey guys. New to the XDS-45. Not new to guns though.

I have a Daniel Defense m4v5LW and a G26 Gen4.

My question is...Well I had my barrel polished and I really am
not that satisfied with it...

Does anyone know if SA will restore it? I guess its called bluing?

Or can I give them some info and they can send me a new barrel?
Obviously for a price im sure..

Iv searched and can not find a aftermarket barrel distributor...just my luck :(

Any advice would be great and just wanted to get some info that may have ran into a similar barrel issue, etc.

Thanks!

That would wear stupid fast

Nickel boron? Titanium nitride? Have you considered those.

Safety is a momentary choice. Prior performance and certification are completely irrelevant.

You can get it TiN coated for under $100. WarFrog Tactical can give you an estimate. That should last longer than OEM and prevent any wear from showing.

They have several coatings. TiN is gold in color. Others are a very dark grey and one is black I think. Just Google WarFrog Tactical.

It's a barrel, gun is meant to be shot, what does it matter what the barrel looks like? Does the gun not perform?
