I went to the range today for the first time with my new XDS 9mm 3.3. I had read through several threads on this forum about problems with light strikes, FTF, and FTRBs but am happy to report that I didn't have a single issue.

Granted, I took some preventative measures before the range:
1) I cleaned the gun twice after purchasing, got all that factory gunk out of there.
2) I did clean the striker channel and reassembled dry.
3) I lubed all the important parts (barrel extererior, slide rails, etc) with TW25B before reassembling. I intentionally ran it "wet" per the wisdom of this forum and the manual.

I fed it several different brands of ammo, including some "No-Name" ammo I picked up during the ammo shortage of '12-'13. Worked like a champ. My buddy and I out maybe 130 rounds through without a single issue.

I'm a fairly new shooter but I was able to get some pretty tight groups with it at 3yds and 5yds, I even managed to keep 5/5 rounds on the paper at 15yds ( probably something like an 6-8in group).

All in all, I'm very pleased.

Thanks guys,

I always run the target out to 15 yds at some point in ny range sessions, more for fun than anything.

Spent the majority of my time at 3 to 5 yds. Next time will be 5 to 7 yds.
