XDm Sight Dovetail

Are the dovetail channels tapered to one side or the other? I know my Beretta is so I was wondering about the XDm, before I screw something up.....

What kind of sights are you going to put on it?

I dont know yet, have any sugggestions? Truthfully the stock ones are not bad, but a set of night sights would be nice.

I love my meprolights, orange in the rear, green in the front, on my Xd. 45. I think you can get a set for the M.

The sight cut is straight but I remove the sights from right to left and install them left to right anyway.
