Not trying to pry but are you going to use it to carry? Because to be honest with you there are numerous options besides that holster that are alot better.

I bolted the xd holster inside my center console and it works great.
I do carry another leather holster and belt just in case I have to exit the car with my gun.

For $20, you can just get a Fobus--same holster.
Fobus Paddle Holster, Holsters, Fobus at Sportsman's Guide
... And if you're just going to bolt it in, you don't even need a Paddle holster.
