I just brought home a new XDM .45 had a bit of operator head space and timing issues but all is good and looking forward to seeing if I like this better than my XDM .40

So what is the 13 round mag capacity problem?

Probably best to call SA without delay and tell them about the operator head space and the timing issues. Don't delay so they can investigate it. That gun should hold 45 rounds, so yes, 13 IS a problem. The 9mm should hold 9, the 357 should hold 357 rounds, etc..etc. Call SA ASAP. ;)

Yes. A QUALITY timing light is a must. Not some old Chinese cheap-o you'd get from some roving street tool vendor. No! What's your XDm worth to you? Think about it. On the head space and mag capacity issues its advisable to call SA NOW and even if you sound frantic I'd do it and leave a message. That gun is messed up.
