Dealer is holding it for me to pick up Saturday. I'll report some more then. I just bought the XD Sub-Compact last week. I guess I'm an XD guy now. Selling my P320 Carry 9mm for this gun. So this gun will cost me $10 + tax.. I'm meeting buyer at the shop I'm buying this at. That worked out for me.

I should be picking my first XDM on Tuesday, though it has an extra millimeter one way and 3/4" the other, definitely interested in what your initial impressions are.

I just picked up the XDM. I was wrong about it being the Elite. It's the XDM. I assumed Elite because no 9mm XDM's showed on Springfield's web site. Oh well I still like and want it. Trigger still feels great better than my XD Sub 3".

Trigger pull is 5 3/4lbs before cleaning. Usually it drops after cean and lube. . Feels much lighter. This trigger feels like a hammer fired single action at the break point.

I do have a 3.8 XDM Elite coming, wish they made them in 40, but this is a puny 9 MM.
