Whats the difference between the factory barrel, that came with my XD45, and a Match Barrel?

Tolerances are tighter on a match barrel. Generally, there are areas on the exterior of the barrel that need to be fitted to the slide for a tighter lockup.

Does this mean they are a lot more accurate than the stock barrel?

The short answer to your question if a match barrel has better accuracy, it is yes. A match a barrel will be affected quicker by leading, fouling and copper deposits. If you are shooting matches that require you to be pin point, then a match barrel is for you. If you are planning to use your pistol for self defense, the stock barrel is more than accurate enough. I carry my XD45 as my duty weapon and it has a stock barrel. I can shoot 2 1/2" groups at 25 yards. Have fun with your XD.

It's more accurate but by how much it will affect normal shooting it's hard to tell. I have match grade barrels on both my XDs and all my 1911s. I'm sure the guns are much more accurate than what I can get out of them

With or without one, the XD is a great gun and more than accurate for self defence.
