Good choice. :) The CZ-75 was my first gun and you will find it shoots great. The feel of the CZ-75 grip should be quite close to that of the XD. They are very accurate (mine are anyway) and have excellent ergonomics. There is a reason why it is possibly the most copied gun in the world.

Last summer, I was going for a CZ.
Ended up with the XD. :D
CZ seemed too heavy for me. (all steel)
I may try to get back to the CZ again, I've read they are very good.

CZs are great guns....Had a P-01 and traded it in for a Glock 34. What a dumb thing to do. Oh well, you live and learn.

Now, all I got at home to keep my XD9 company is a big, beautiful CZ97B, a doublestack .45 ACP that's the best shooter this side of 600 bucks....and maybe just best .45 period. And I do own a Dan Wesson PDMP 1911 that's a great shooter as well, but that 97B kicks Wessons butt any day!!

As soon as the new SP-01 18-round all-steel CZs come out , i'm definitely getting one ASAP.

GunFANaTIK,

Is that a Hogue Handall grip installed on the XD? I noticed it appears not to interfere with the grip safety, did you have to trim it?
Yes it is a Hogue Handall Grip and I did trim it just enough for the hand safety to be depressed. Just a tip if you are going to get a Hogue Grip for your XD, Make sure that you get a real nice sharp blade to trim the Hogue Grip.

Hey all, just my two cents, but if I like my xd 40 sc as much as I've enjoyed my Rami 9mm I'll be one happy dude. Never shot full size CZ, but LOVE the xd service.
