I am in the process of buying an XD40 from an individual seller, would I be able to get the springfield package with the 12rd mags and holster or do i have to buy it from a retailer?

I'd think if your buying it used from a private seller than no. If he's an ffl than maybe so. But for the authoritative word, check with Springfield.

Regardless, unless you buy before close of business tomorrow, you won't be able to get the deal at all. From what SA told me earlier this week, 31 January is the deadline.
