Has anyone experienced warranty problems with the SA factory after something such as "Canyon Creek' trigger work, slide tightening et cetera. Just a hypothetical question.

If you are worried about something like this, then a forum is the last place to ask the question. Call up Springfield and ask them if getting trigger work by Canyon Creek will void the warranty. If they say yes ask them if they have any other places on some sort of approved list that you can get the work done. Some manufacturers have a few places around the country that they will allow to work on your stuff without pitching the warranty book.

Most likely, if the failure is caused by the custom work, barrel tightening as an example, the Gunsmith who did the work should warranty it. Springfield may give you a fuss, however in the end, they always seem to do right by the customer.

I know that Rich of Canyon Creek backs up his work and his work is superb (as you saw at the Group Shoot).
