Oh how I wish I had a chronograph.

I've been loading 115gr Rainier plated round nose bullets on top of 5.0 grs of Bullseye for my XD Sub Compact (9mm obviously.) Feels a little stouter than a factory load. Next batch, I'm going to back it down a bit. (Might as well save money on powder.) Beyond that, I'm wondering if anyone on here loads for their XD 9mm and what kind of load you use. (Not looking for a defensive round here, or anything to win a championship with, just a plinking/target load.)

125gr LRN with 4.0gr of Win 231

I just bought a shooting chrony thats set to be delivered in the morning, I need it to work up a load for my xd45 with lead 230gr LRN. There is no reloading data for this so its all new ground, I am scared but excited about working up my first load from scratch.

For about 60 bucks you can get a shooting chrony I have seen them used they seem to work, Ill let you know how I like mine.

Last loads i did were about a year ago. 5.0 bullseye with 115 gr rainier. Went about 1250fps with my 4" 9mm. Sunny, 80degrees 3400 feet elevation.

hope this helps.

That's about a 143 power factor. WWB works out to 129 with a 115 gr bullet.
