Is the 4" .40 barrel same as the 9mm; only chamber and bore diffrent?

Want to know if this will work in my 4" 9mm.

(My guess is it will, thought I would ask tho.)

A little sandpaper and some elbow grease and it will work for the plastic rod.

You can get a 9mm conversion barrel to fit a .40 but not vice versa.

That is my understanding as well. You can get a smaller diameter 9mm case to fit under the ejector of a 40 but you can't get the larger diameter 40 case to fit under the 9mm ejector. The barrel diameter is the least of the problems.

I understand your question, that will "THIS TRAINING BARREL" fit? As I already said, Yes, I am sure it will. It is made of plastic, so if it is a little tight, then I would take a little sandpaper or emery cloth and take it down a little bit. We use them in our 40's, and they are a neat little safety feature. No guessing here...

Again, the question was not if a REGULAR barrel would work.
