If this is fact, how do I determine the XD factory sight equivalent SIG numbered front sight? I want Trituims, but want a front sight Approx .062 taller than the factory XD on my Sub-compact. Thanks!

if you want a 6 oclock sight, get number 8 fronts and rear
if you want to put the front dot on the target then 6 front, 8 rear.

From what info i have been able to glean from the Sig Forum there is not much variance in the front sights. To achieve that much difference you will need you will need to change both front and rear.

There is a post on the Sig Forum which lists the sights sizes and I don't know how to post that link here. Sorry.

Maybe this will help since I can't post the link.

SIGHT CHART
I have put together a chart (below) showing rear and front sight heights (for most models)in metric and English units. It is important to note that the height is OVERALL from bottom of dovetail to top of blade; it is NOT just the blade height. Looks like the base is about .055-.060" which, when subtracted yields just the blade height but for calculating point of impact/aim, the DIFFERENCE is what is important because the base height is constant.
