As new to the gun world(Just picked up my XD 9 tactical) and looking for dcently priced ammo. What does WWB mean???? I see this term in mos threads involving ammo talk.

I had come to think it was some kind of WalMart brand but then someone mentioned it in relation to Winchester in another thread. Confused here.

If Wally world has 100 round boxes for $12, thats still cheaper than the $11 box i pay for 50 round 115 grain Speer Lawman here where i live

You were right.

WWB=Winchester White Box

The 100rd WWB value packs are Winchester. They come in a white box, like this one:

Winchester White Box - It's inexpensive target/range ammo that a lot of people pickup at Wal Mart.
i'm new to shootin too so i understand... they are referring to the winchester white box ammo... which is sold at most if not all walmart stores for a decent price. I picked em up for a 100rd box of 165grain fmj(full metal jacket) for 15.97.

I don't think "white box" is the official name of that product but thats what its known as since it comes in a nearly entirely white box.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

EDIT: Oh and if your in the so cal area, let me know... i have a coupon i could send you for it, for 13.98 a box.
A lot of people/places refer it to the Winchester Government Ammunition. Normally on the forums when WWB is discussed, people are talking about the 100rd value packs available at Walmart and some other sporting goods stores.
If you are on the East Coast, it's also available at The Sports Authority.

Although I have paid less for Remington-UMC at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Also if you're on the East Coast, Lawman's Supply has 500 round cases of the Remington-UMC 115gr. FMJ 9mm for $59.95 per case.
thanks to all for your replies. Much appreciated

Tony Mig. The Lawman's supply case's sounds like what i would like to go with. I am in Augusta Georgia but i can't find anything in the phone books around here. Even googling it does not come up with a website

Is there a phone number or site per chance??

Regards
