not trashin yur post but you might wantto check priceing, to get it movin, ive been looking at these and find most are 450- 475 used, and new under 500?? few 45/70 at the 400 mark on GB site , ? just a tip not trashin it

i hear ya , how did you like that tang with the short barrel? ive got a 1895 45/70 24in barrel
