I've been lurking for a bit and I am now addicted to this site....as well as 1911s. I have recently been diagnosed with the 1911 bug and it's killing me.

I have been looking for the following pistols:

Almost any Kimber (internal extractors only)
Dan Wesson CBOB 45 or 10mm

Well crap, just about any of them will do. Night sites are a big plus.

I am only looking for full size govt. models as well as commander models. No Officer models please. My hands cannot take it.

My budget is maxed around $700.

i just picked up a DW commander bobtail and love it. Stainless and novak night sights, feels great in the hand and shoots like a dream. got it for $795.

yeah I missed out on a 10mm cbob on GB for 700. Killing myself daily for it.
