Hey gang. First I want to thank all of you here at xdtalk. I dont really post much, but I have been reading a gangload of information here. This is not my first pistol, but I have been without one for quite some time. I picked up my XD(m) .40 today at Slugmasters in Leavittsburg OH for 619 out the door!

Price was 589 before tax. She was running a special that ends this week. If anyone lives in NE ohio, this is the place to go. Another shop within 5 minutes of me wants 640 for the bi-tone pre-tax.

Went to WallyWorld and bought 3 boxes of BlazerBrass for 12.50 a box. Cant find any of my gun oils or cleaning kits, so I guess i'll go back to wallyworld to get some.... going either to the range on Saturday or up to my brother's who lives in a nice rural area.

Pics: - not much, but you get the idea.

I am looking forward to the range this weekend. Or if weather is good, heading to my brother's.

Off topic, what are the majority of the .40 users using for home-defense rounds?

Hey there "That Guy", go get yourself a "Bore Snake" and some gun oil and call it a day... Now don't do anything silly with that XDM... when I pick mine up, I pee a little

I carry it's little brother, the XD40-SC and have a all black one for the home. I sent it back to Springfield custom shop for the "combat trigger job" and had them put on the Trijicon night sights. Grab yourself a rail light for the home. mine is dressed and ready to go each and every night. I see the need for me to post some "gun porn" with my beauties.

Eventually I would like to get Trijicons for it. I am researching where to get it done at the moment. I wish I could have purchased the new xdm with night sights. But I will live. I am itching to go shooting. My wife even wants to go! But she is getting mad at me for drooling at the moment. I did take the liberty and load up the magazines with the Blazer that I bought tonight just because I wanted to do something!!

Great price! I got my bi tone 9 for $599 out the door. Would also like to get the trijicon night sights too, but looking for a good gunsmith to install em. Stock up on the ammo it goes pretty fast!

Yea I was pretty happy with the price. I did have to drive about 30 minutes to get there, but i'd rather drive for a deal! Gun shop 5 minutes from my house would not budge on prices, even after I told him what the shop 30 minutes away was offering.

She has the .40 for 589 this week, and I think the 9mm is 559 or something close to that. I called and made sure she held the bitone for me. Saturday looks to be a nice range day!
