Would like to shoot in one of these, sounds like lots of fun. Anyone know where some are in my area?

go to IDPA.com there is a bullet listed as IDPA affiliated clubs this takes you to a map that shows all the states. Click on the state you live in and it will list the clubs that are affiliated. Many have websites of their own and will post matches and such. I think there are clubs in both OKC and D/FW.

IDPA is very fun particularly when you find a friendly club to shoot at. I shot my first match last June and took 6th in the state match in August in my class. Even won a case of ammo in a drawing at one the matches. Lots of fun.

Hey Joe if you don't mind driving a little come on up and shoot with us at the Wichita IDPA. The range is really nice and the events are always fun. The range owner puts on a pretty good shoot and the entry fee includes a pretty nice lunch to boot. Email me if you want more information on where and when.

Smokewagon, there is a pretty good idpa club established in OKC...I've never been to a match there, but I've heard good things about it. If you go in one of the bigger gunshops in town they can probably steer you to it, and I think there is a link to the okc idpa website on Tulsashooters.com. Also, if you don't mind a little bit of a drive we have IDPA matches in Tulsa on the 3rd and 4th saturdays of each month. Third sat is at Red castle gun club in Sand springs, 4th is Oil Capital gun club in Broken arrow. We'd love to have you if you can make it. Have fun.
