So I think I have everything I need to go to the range in my bag but thought I'd see if there was anything I was missing that others may bring. Here is what I carry in my bag:

* Ear muffs
* Shooting glasses
* Kleenbore Complete Cleaning Kit
* Tool kit Combo
* Small first aid essentials
* Burn cream (after being burned 3x by casings)
* Surgical gloves (for cleaning or emergency)
* Extra ammo, extra mags
* Small LED flashlight

Am I missing anything important?

Got paper targets - but they are the silouettes that are poster size so I just carry those in. Its my SIG that tends to throw the hot casings when I rapid fire. I've not had a problem with my XD casings burning me.

usually hearing protection, ammo, glasses, magazines, a stapler, and whatever gun(s) I am shooting for the day. I used to haul a bunch of crap to the range, but now I just take the bare essentials.

In addition to what you listed I also have in my range bag:

Staple Gun (for mounting targets)
Sharpie Marker (so I can use my targets multiple times)
Disposable ear plugs (in case I have a guest)
Cheap Uncle Mike's holster (in case I have a guest)
Hand Wipes (since loading ammo is dirty, keeps the steering wheel clean)
Ammunition
Snap Caps (for dry fire/malfunction drills)
Bore Snake

Eyes-n-ears. I usually carry an extra cheap set of eyes, and pack of foamies
Bore snakes for 9mm, .40, .45, .223, .308
Hoppes #9
First aid kit
Small tool kit
Staple gun

Cleaning rod. Not really for cleaning, but I have used it for squibs, loading 16 gauge in a 12, etc.
Spare batteries for the optics I own.

Temporary:
Mags, ammo, and holsters for the guns I'm taking out.

All the usual essentials, but one I must stress is a compact trauma kit. For that one day where the SHTF, and dipstick next to you shots you or somebody else. Always want to say it will never happen but how many mistakes are planned.

Ohh also, my wedding ring, I don’t like shooting with it on.

Paper sillouette targets, Mossberg 500 Persuader (w/ MANY tactical add-ons), Springfield XDM .45 ACP, Springfield XD 9mm 3" compact, Glock 19, Glock 27 w/ grip extender and night sights. Ear muffs, glasses, thin gloves, and LOTS of ammo. Oh, and also, as always, my conceal carry license.....

Lots and lots of ammo, ear plugs, targets, that's about it. My buddy carries everything but the kitchen sink in his bags so I just bum off of him if needed. I do although have a bunch of stuff in my truck that I can use, tools, etc.

+1 on the trauma kit, more than just band-aids. Shot timer. Log book. Sometimes dark welding goggles for limited light simulation. One of those magnet strips on wheels with a long handle from the hardware store, picks those steel casings right up. Plastic coffee can to carry brass home in. Home made chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes oatmeal. Never raisin. :D
