Hello,

I just got via the bbt a Streamlight TLR-1s from Midway. Installed was the Glock key which leaves a gap to the trigger guard (and the switch a long ways off for my short fingers). The pictuinny (sp) key brings the switch closer but causes the light to be canted. Are folks using there dremil to take some to the front of the trigger guard off to allow the closer key?

TLR-1s

Thanks,

Don't know if this helps, but the xdm compact key works best on the TLR-3 for an XDm 40. Not your question, but the best I can do.

Thanks,
I have the XDm 40 full size. Used the Glock key. Works fine on mine.
Did a bit of research, as the instructions weren't all that great, the
Glock key was recommended for the XDm.
The switch fits quite close to the guard. I can reach it on either side
with no problem. Your reach ( finger length) may be different.
I wouldn't start grinding on anything. It should fit if installed correctly.
Keep working with it. Took me a while to figure the thing out myself.
Once I got the setup figured out, it was a snap to put on & remove.
