I do like this holster.
Is it easy to remove the gun quickly?
Or should i get combat cut?
Been wearing a Crossbreed every day, when out, for 6 months.

The pistol will come out as fast as you can draw.

On the other hand I fell and slid a few feet while hiking down a steep hill and the XDm .40 stayed right where it was supposed to.

I didn't get the combat cut. you can always trim some away later if you want. Crossbreed says they'll do it later, also.

Whatever brand you choose, a good stiff belt is part of it also. It helps hold everything in place.

I have no complaints of my DeSaints sof-tuck. Carry my XD compact often and for extended periods of time.

I think that the Sof Tuck is a great first holster because it's decently built, inexpensive, and versatile. You can wear it crossdraw, strongside, or small of the back to see which carry position you prefer. Once you figure that out you can make a more informed decision on a more permanent holster set up.
