A real leader would consider, even once, opening a dialogue with the protestors and actually engaging in their concerns, and admitting to them there is a real racism problem in this country, and trying to actively find a solution. Instead we ignore it and try to silence them.

This is why he won’t win, he and all his people continue to not even acknowledge it.
The other day they couldn’t get Pence to say the words “black lives matter”.
Asked directly, he would not say it.

If his fan base is going to stop supporting him because he acknowledges that black lives matter, then they are honestly part of the racism problem we have today.

I have no problem saying the words "black lives matter", but I do have a problem with the movement that the term represents. Not the best analogy, but I support someone's right to proudly display the Confederate Flag as long as it is not done to incite hate or violence.

White, yellow, black, brown, whatever lives should be cherished. I have a hard time getting behind a group of people who use violence in hopes of gaining pacification. Know what demographic kills more black teens and young adults? It's not even close; other black teens and young adults who have been taught not to snitch and vigilante justice is the way to settle problems.

Are you insane? Open dialogue with a Marxist communist domestic terror organization? An organization hiding behind their misleading socially woke title could care less about actual lives, regardless of color. Statistics disprove institutional racism. We have laws that protect against racism in society.

Ever seen someone say “all lives matter” and get chastised for it? That’s right, only one specific race matters, nobody else. Wait, isn’t that racism? No other majority or minority ethnic group is relevant because it isn’t a “woke” issue.

Traditional racism? Dying breed. Reverse racism? Ask DeBlasio how he felt at then GF memorial, or just take a look at the hate sent Drew Brees way because of his comments that were taken out of context. “You will NEVER understand” they said...

You’re going to wake up one day and realize you started the chess game 2nd row from the back, and by then it will be too late.

I said protestors.
Not looters, arsonists, or organized crime. There is a difference.

If all lives truly mattered then Trump would try to empathize with the blacks, and understand their point of view.

I see saying All lives matter as a PC way of saying you don’t care and don’t wish to understand a differing point of view.

All lives should matter to Trump, he needs their votes, not just the old white people and southerners.

He needs the blacks, which he has ignored.
He needs the native Americans, whom he pushes aside in the name of big oil.
He needs the Mexicans, whom he continues to suppress with his attacks on the H2B and similar visa worker program.

If Tulsa wasn’t a clue, he is losing his fan base. He carried all 77 counties last election, and couldn’t manage to halfway fill a 19k seat arena on Friday.

Tulsa’s mayor (a Republican) has embraced the community. He backed initiatives to revitalize and invest in the Greenwood district that the whites burned 99 years ago. He has stepped up community policing and opened up dialogue between police and citizens (while at the same time adding more officers, not defunding them). He backed an initiative to find the mass graves from the massacre so a terrible time in history can be properly laid to rest.

It hasn’t been talked about, but he made a pretty bold statement Friday. He met Trump at the airport out of respect, but did not accompany him to his rally.

The Republican mayor of Tulsa didn’t even attend the rally.

I used to think Trump had some good ideas, he just had a bad method of delivery and needed to keep his mouth shut.

Recently he’s just been downright stupid.

His handling of the Pandemic was pathetic, and thus far he has not handled the recent unrest well either.

Any “advisor” that isn’t a yes man gets discarded for the next in line.

Not a good leader.
