Where can I find the water table information on my area (Dallas County, TX)? I'm wondering how deep I would have to dig for a well. My understanding is that the table is pretty high (hence our lack of basements).

Can't seem to find anything through the almighty Google.

State engineers office.
BTW You know that you shouldn't drink the water near the surface. Especially in an urban area. The chemical contaminates are sky high and as far as I know the filters will not remove all of them.
