I've read using Armadillo to lube your slide rails works very well. I've also read that the Disotec XFR can be applied to the outside of the slide, let dry, and then Armadillo apllied as usual to give the slide a richer, darker finish than a usual coat of Armadillo. My question is if I'm going to apply Armadillo to my slide rails should I clean them, put on the armadillo, then shoot? Or should I clean them, aplly Disotec XFR, let it dry, then apply Armadillo (like the outside of the slide)? In either case, after I let the armadillo dry on the slide rails, should I still use a light lubricant on the rails like the Disotec or CFR, or is this overkill if I've already coated the rails with Armadillo? thanks, nocalkind

sorry, I wish I was answering your question for you, but I also have been wondering about this. It seems odd, but can you use Armadillo on the inside of slide INSTEAD of oil??
