I've got a XD-9 essentials pack that I've put around 500 rounds through. Any idea how much I could get for it? Would $385 shipped be a fair price. I'd like to pick up an XDm 3.8 9mm in return.

I was told that firearms (unless grossly neglected and undermaintained) don't usually fall in value.

I purchased my XD9 essentials for $450, which I think is about normal.
your suggested price of $385 shipped!!! is good deal, IMO.

I don't think 385 shipped is a bad price at all. As long as it is in good shape. I wouldn't take less than 500 for my XDm compact.

Find someone local for $350, and save the hassle and expense of shipping it.

Yup they had a 4 day sale over the weekend.

I paid $439.00 for my essentials over a year ago at McBrides.

I just bought an XD9 Essentials for $399 plus tax at Cabelas.
I wish my store would have had a tactical model ... I'd have bought it, but they didn't.
Just a few service models, and compacts.

Put it on Armslist for $425 (face-to-face). Someone may buy it - you'd be surprised.
I think it's always better to start high & come down.
You never know unless you try. :)

Sell it in your local classifieds for retail price. You'd be surprised how many people will pay retail for a used gun because of no background checks, waiting period, fees, etc.

Although I don't think I'd feel comfortable selling one of my firearms to a potential felon. lol.
