I found this manual online that says it's the US Army Field Manual. Not sure if that's true or not but it has some pretty good information in it nonetheless. Thought I'd pass it on.

I never saw that manual when I was in the Army, but it has good info! I'll try to print it off at work when nobody's looking.

If you have a Android or iPhone you
can and app that is the ARMY survival
guide. Just nice to have in your pocket
to do some reading anytime you have
a minute.

And thanks for the link above. Will be nice
to print it off and throw it in a binder.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't save the doc as a pdf, but did "print" it to a file on disk for later study.

If you right click, a popup will appear stating something like "function disable", but the right click operation will still work and you can save them locally. The different manuals should have most everything needed for survival such as security, first aid, shelter, etc.

If really preparing for a SHTF situation, a trauma kit and manual should be a consideration. I learned a lot of this stuff when I was in the military and working for the military but good for anyone to carry/know. The place I like is Chinook Medical Gear as the kits are really nice and cheaper than buying the individual items. I carry the Individual Operator Kit in my car, but honestly, because of the liability nowadays, it would have to be pretty bad before I used it on anyone other than my immediate family. Some things shouldn't be done unless trained, but again, for SHTF, if it's between messing up or dieing, you decide.

And don't forget the manual, extremely important. The link below is the best one I know.
