I found a sale at Wally world on Remington UMC Leadless 180 Gr. At $7.00 even, i had to buy 2 boxes. All in all, I fired 200 rds today (UMC, WWB, and Blazer). I have had no problems, and the best ammo I have fired so far seems to be the UMC leadless. Surprising, as it is also the cheapest ammo I have ever bought. Im not an amazing shot or anything, but I managed to pull off a 2" group at 45 feet. 9 rounds (we can forget that damn flyer). I was quite hesitant to use that ammo, but In my quest to find what I like best for my gun, I thought "what the hell."
Turns out that I may have found a new favourite, but I will have to keep experimenting.
If you haven't tried it, I definitely recommend it, and for the price, if you don't like it, you're not losing anything.

Would that be the UMC green box? I might just have to pick up some for my friend who always complains about the price of .40 ammo.

I have looked in about 8 different Wal-Marts and only found 3 boxes. This stuff has been in the stores for years so the newer stores probably don't have it. In any case it's been few and far between.

Every time I go to walmart, i look for the stuff, but I cant find it any more. Im pissed, because my best trip to the range was with that ammo. I want to test if if was the ammo, or a whole combination of factors that allowed me to shoot that well that day.

Im gonna keep looking.

Wal-Mart has an option called item locator. You need to get a manager to get one of their hand held scanners (called Telxons) and enter the item number or UPC number. They can perform a search and tell you if any stores within 150 miles of their store is showing that they still have that ammo in stock. If the inventory is off they may show on hand quantities but not have any so make sure you call to verify it. If they say they can't do this it's because they don't know how to do it. I'm know for a fact it can be done because I've done it myself.
