Some companies also use Loctite.

Stupid yeah, but then again, it may have been put together on someones table top and it's untelling what they did to it. JB weld, epoxy, etc etc etc.

I don't know what (if anything) Ruger does to their AR's.

But my warning still stands for franken-guns. I've seen a lot of crap over the years from bubba's work shop.

Thanks for replys,I looked its not staked.Yes its the new ruger -I have a magpul UBR id like to put on it.I think I need a better wrench.

The wrenches with one prong seem to be flimsy at best. Get a better one and make sure you have the AR properly secured when putting force on the nut and tube.
