And these bad boys lock up TIGHT!. Zero movement. You could definitely mount optics if you wanted and not worry at all about losing zero. That's impressive for a non free float.

Just waiting on my SureFire G2 and Magpul rail panels. :)
Thanks for the offset mount Mike!(I may or may not run the tape switch)

Mine just came in today as well, they are freakin' sweet.

Got em from global tactical supply -- ordered wednesday and got them today.

Now if CMMG would hurry the F up and send me my lower parts kit...:rolleyes:

sweet Rails I hate you. i can't afford to buy anything else until after the 8th when i get my money back from all the Pmags i got from BoTac then i will have to decide between the 10 and the 13.5 FFs

No, you couldn't. They may seem tight enough, but I guarantee you that you'd lose zero in short order. Give them some time, they'll loosen up.

Ill let you know if they loosen, but Troy specifically advertises them as being so solid you can mount optics on them. So far I believe the claim. It's a very good design as far as I can tell initially.

Sure, if it's a free float rail. Otherwise, they will end up moving eventually if they are drop-in, non-free floats. It doesn't mean the rails suck, they're just not made to mount optics on.

Ahh, that makes more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
