Anyone send theirs back to SA instead of using the PRP kit because they were unhappy with the trigger post recall?

Several that were over the advertised stock pull of 7.7 lbs and they came back great .

That's great to hear. Springfield takes care of it free of charge?
If the trigger is out of spec (5.5 - 7.7lb) then yes. Within spec, I've not seen anyone say one way or the other what they would do, and if they would charge or not.

The gritty trigger comes from the new spring placement as it cause severe drag. You can check this out by removal of the new spring under the sear and reassembly gun and notice No drag. As Springfield made the change to the spring it turn it up and now it causes drag because the fix was cheap. They took the best trigger and made it the grittest creepy omatic trigger ever.
