Today I removed my mag, ejected the live round. Upon a dry-fire, the trigger stayed in the rear position, grip safety is in normal position. Slide racks but takedown lever will not budge at all. Firing pin is still showing ready to fire. I'm 2nd owner so no clue as round count. Any ideas?

Wait is this an XD45 or XDM45?

Sounds like the trigger bar might be jammed under the sear or striker stop lever, but... the takedown lever being jammed only makes sense to me if it is a XDM.

Did you have the slide locked back when you tried to move the tear down lever ? Might seem like a stupid question, but wanted to make sure
