Tracking a carry permit?

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I'm still learning where everything goes.

I was curious, and it's probably a stupid and long shot question, but it there a way to track the process of your carry permit application? I'm assuming it's a waiting game but in just the off chance I wanted to see.

Thanks in advance.

It likely depends on your state of residence.

I can only speak for Minnesota, where if there is no reason to deny your permit, the Sheriiff's department must approve it within 30 days of the date of application.
I live in Georgia. Some people have told me it took two weeks. Others have said 5 to 6. So far no luck on finding any information on tracking it. I just I wish I knew where the application is at this point.
I live in GA, too. No way to track. It will just appear in your mailbox one day. Mine came in about 2 weeks if I remember correctly.

Thanks for confirming.
I seem to be getting 50 50 replies on the two weeks. I'm hoping for 2 weeks lol
here in central florida mine took right at 2 weeks.
Oklahoma's is trackable.
-submitted
-received
-pending
-approved
or something to that nature.
took 96 days from submitting my documents to receiving my plastic in the mail. my address was misspelled so I called the department and the had a new one out to me within the week.

Boy that doesn't come right out of the ATF's NFA branch playbook...
