Masking tape and a clever backstop to catch those detents when they go flying across the room. :D

It was just suggested to me for my coming up build:

Loctite 2440 (for bedding the barrel and gas block)

Ooops sorry just noticed you are buying a complete upper. Ah well I'll leave the post anyway.

a big clear trash bag that you can see through when handling small springs and detent pins really only needed for the front pivot pin

for this pin use a allen wrench slighly smaller than the holes for the pivot pin feed it though left to right just before it covers up the whole. drop in your detent spring and detent then place the bag over it using a razor blade push the detent down in to the hole and slide the allen wrench over it. once its held in place line your front pivot pin up with the allen wrench and feed it place

its a PITA to try and hold the dent down and feed the pivot pin in place at the same time your hand or whatever your using seems to get in the way and thats when things start to go flying.
