So which is considered the thumb safety on the XD SA .45 ACP Tacical? Is it the safety on the back of the grip or the actual safety right below the slide? I am asking as I would like to put in a PRP trigger but didn't know if I could?

Any help would be great thanks!

The safety on the back of the grip is the "grip safety". If your gun is equipped with a "thumb safety" then it is located right below the slide in the same spot as the safety on a 1911 or a Beretta 92FS, or any number of other guns with a thumb safety. Hope this helps.

PRP does NOT make a trigger kit for the thumb safety XD, only Springer Precision does. Hope this helps.
