In KC, there was a ~30 year old project to build a highway into downtown from the 'burbs. They named it after Bruce Watkins, who was the biggest opponent of the project since it seemed to split the line between back and white neighborhoods (hint: it did, though it is all rough, primarily black neighborhoods now). His opposition was the main reason why the project was tied up in courts for decades. Dude is rolling in his grave.Just pointing out a bit of irony. He specifically chose the "good" school district, and its honoring one of the leading segregationist of his era.
