I am thinking of getting another XD40. I already have one in the OD color and I might get the black and have a pair.

I can get a new XD 40 4" with 3 high caps and the kydex holster for $412.00 out the door.

Is this a fair price?

Sounds like a great deal. I paid $411 for mine with 2 mags then added another magazine for 26 bucks (I didn't get the package deal since it wasn't in stock). added shipping (19 dollars) and paid $457 out the door. Still not bad I guess considering I live in a very small area and the one dealer we have here wanted over 500 bucks without the 3rd mag. At least she was nice enough to do the transfer for free though after I ordered it.

I have thought about getting the 3" or the tactical. I guess I am just being a tightwad and dont want to buy more holsters to fit the different sizes and also different ammo and mags.

Honestly it would be a house gun for the wife when I am gone to work at nights.

I will think about it some more. It would be a plus to carry the 3" in the summer time.

That's an outstanding price. I wish there was more competition around here for the XDs so that our local prices were anywhere near that.
