What do you guy's think the best inexpensive red dot scope is out there? I will be putting on my AR-15, I could use some expertise on this... My main thing is I don't want to spend a bunch of money on it...

Millet Red Dot for about $85.00 handles the recoil of my .44 mag just fine.

I have a BSA like the one used by the Box O Truth and it can't keep a zero. With every round it wanders. You can visibly see that the dot is in a different place after every shot...

I just mounted a Tasco PDP3 on my AR. Have two other PDP3s, one of which has been mounted on my Sheitz und Weazel .44 mag. Has never failed, in over 10 years now. I was about to order the Millett version, which looks identical, but which, according to the literature, only takes one 2032 battery. The PDP3s take two batteries and have brighter dots than the one-battery models.

PDP3 is currently available from Optics Planet for $85, with free shipping.

I went with a Burris XTS-135 has a little more blue tent to it than would be ideal but all and all it seems to be a very good peace, it and the SPOT look very similar.
