I've found that at another forum that shall remain nameless there are a bunch of people who are far more opinionated and will bash any product that isn't in the forum name. The people here seem to be more honest and willing to admit that there are other products that are good, even if they don't like them as much.

AMEN. no one will ever escape opinion, but a little honesty in some cases would go a long way. "x,y,z, is the only gun for me. and thus its the only gun for you. well, hell...its the ONLY gun, period!!!" -- i hear that ALL the time. irritating.

I must add also that since I am no longer an XD owner that I still frequent this site much more than any other gun forum out there. As someone said, it is quality, not quantity. I think this site has a lot of great people and it is very imformative as well as entertaining.

For what it's worth, in the short time I've been here, I've seen very few trolls, and the need for asbestos underwear is perhaps the least I've seen among the forums I occasionally visit. Some really great and helpful folks here.
