Can someone explain the differences in some of the types of Tap ammo? It seems like there are a ton of options. I am loking for a good round for home defense and tearing zombie flesh.

Nice pics! The only mag I own that's not a Pmag is my 30 round aluminum GI loaded with Hornady Tap. I do this in case I need to grab it quickly. No confusion about which mag has the good stuff..

Barbarossa- I can't give you a scientific data sheet or anything, but the Hornady TAP is a polymer tipped round that is supposed to be the best fragmenting/man stopping bullet you can get. It's used by law enforcement and both shops in my area recommend it second to none for self defense in an AR. It's also readily available.

Depending on your location, it will run you about a buck a round if you are not buying in bulk....
