The instructions for my talon grips said to wrap the excess under on the left side. Is this correct, all the research I've done has come back for xds and it says to trim at the seam. I followed the instructions so I hope I did it right.

Thanks for your response. I heated with the hair dryer and formed it really well I love the grips looks great and makes for a hell of a grip I think they should offer it in different colors.

I have had Talon's on my XD40's for over a year, and they virtually part of the gun, no slipping, edges coming up, etc.

Same here. Talon grips on my XDm 3.8 Compact, Shield 9mm, and Glock 17. After a year of use, they look like the day I put them on. A perfect fit, with no peeling or slipping.
