Does anyone know of a leg-drop tactical holster for the XD45 which could hold a couple magazine pouches as well?

I personally like the Safariland 6004 above other kydex platforms, such as the Serpa thigh rig or the BladeTech WRS verison of the Safariland's ALS. The Serpa thigh rig is very comfortable though, as it uses a y-harness that cuts the load in half opposed to the traditional one point design. But I prefer the rotating hood design of Safariland's versus the Serpa's release mechanism, not to mention the nice felt lining to protect the gun's finish.

Many users that use the 6004 like the shroud to ride higher, and before Safariland made this shroud, users had to customized their rigs to look something similar to this:

However, if you don't like the kydex shroud, you can get a hybrid kydex/nylon setup, where you remove the kydex holster and place it on a nylon shroud:

Moreover, you can get additional pouches to attach to the kydex or nylon (MOLLE-PALS) shroud, but honestly you won't be as fast compared to indexing your magazines from the hip, pouches on the opposite of your dominate hand side.

Its all up to you, different strokes for different folks, but having owned and used many different nylon and kydex holsters, the one I continually prefer on my 2nd line rig is Safariland hands down.
