I was wondering what the major difference is between these 2 light/lasers?

My local shop doesn't have the plain M6 they have the M6X. I can get the M6 for $250 off the net, or the M6X for $369 locally.

The M6 is more in my price range, so any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

The M6X has a brighter light and a lower battery life.

Mind you the M6 is really damn bright.

Burris is coming out with a 125 Lumen light/laser that will run around $250... I think I will hold off for that one.

The M6 is a great light. Botac Tactical has them for $229. http://store.botachtactical.com/intecm6.html They had a sale on them for $200 but it looks like that is over with.....

That is a great price....I paid 279.99 for mine, and I was told that was a LEO price and a good deal! :x Oh well!

Hey guys I'm thinking about getting a light/laser.. Is streamlight and insight the same company - they both list the M6 and they look identical.

USN RM3, that was a good price..I paid ~$350 for mine.

I think the Burris XT-120 XTreme Laser Flashlight will be a better deal even than the M6... The Burris will have a 120 Lumen light, not a 90 Lumen and will only cost around $250... Oh yeah and is 1 hour continuous as well...

Anyone know when these should be out?

I think they are out now. I was told by Burris they were shipping out mid Sept.

Just called Burris ro check and they are still not available. They were told 2 more weeks and they didnt even have one to give me measurements. They didnt have any info on this product. This tells me that are not making it. It sounds like Insight is making them.

After shopping eBay, all links posted here, etc etc, I just picked an M6 up from zTradingPost for $179 (shipping was $14.50 for a grand total of $194.49).

I'll re-post regarding it's condition/operation (as pertaining to it potentially being used) when it comes in.
